The successful candidate is expected to make important contributions to the Short-baseline Near Detector (SBND) during the commissioning and first data taking period, contribute to leading analysis of neutrino data taken within the Short-Baseline Neutrino Experiments (ICARUS, SBND, and MicroBooNE), and have the opportunity to take part in detector R&D related to the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE).The UTA high energy and nuclear particle physics group consists of faculty which work on cutting edge detector R&D, the US short and long baseline neutrino experiments, and searches for rare processes in nuclear physics. **Benefits at UTA** We are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to all our employees at the University.
