The Postdoctoral Research Associate, as a member of translational neuroimaging group, will coordinate clinical research study, conduct clinical/diagnostic assessments, participate in delivery of clinical interventions and collection of biological samples, and the assessment of the outcomes.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
+ Strong verbal and communication skills
+ Knowledge of appropriate laboratory and technical equipment (e.g., an fMRI scanner and related tools that are required during a scan)
+ Knowledge of statistical analyses and statistical analyses software
* The well-qualified candidate will also possess a Ph.D. in neuroscience, psychology, or a related field, with knowledge of research in practical and basic sciences and scientific publications. Prior experience with fMRI data collection and analysis is desired.
Responsibilities
+ MRI Data Collection and Analysis: Works with neuroimaging data, applies principles of functional neuroimaging (fMRI) experimental design, data collection and analysis. Conducts neuroimaging experiments using MRI scanner, program stimuli presentation using appropriate software (e.g., ePrime and Presentation), and analyzes functional neuroimaging data using commonly used analytical tools (e.g., Matlab and SPM).
+ Independent Research: Designs experiments, collects and analyzes neuroimaging and psychophysiological data, biological samples, assess outcomes, and reports the findings in conferences and peer reviewed journals. Contributes to grant submissions. Meets weekly with the study team to evaluate the progress.
+ Train and Oversee Trainees: Trains undergraduate, graduate and medical students and supervises the work of research assistants/research techs.
+ Other Duties: Performs other duties that are part of the normal operation of the lab.
