This research focuses on the integration of spatial computing, AI/machine learning, data science, and human factors engineering to advance our understanding and development of human-centered technologies. Duties and Responsibilities + Conduct research + Develop machine learning algorithms + Apply data science techniques + Collaborate with a team + Publish findings + Mentor students Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills + Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. + Strong background in HCI , machine learning, data science, or computer science. + Experience with spatial computing and wearable technology is highly desirable. + Strong programming skills and proficiency with relevant software tools (e.g., Python). Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills + Spatial Computing Development Experience (e.g. Unity). The Successful Candidate Will The successful candidate will be an effective team player, good communicator (in writing and presenting scientific talks), and a role model in terms of ethical behavior for the graduate students in the project.
