Robust record of publications and technical presentations, as evidenced by application materials. **Position Overview:** The Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering at the University of Kansas invites applications for multiple full-time Postdoctoral Research Associates to support multidisciplinary research on (1) Performance prediction of large-scale concrete dams using machine learning techniques, 2) Fiber-optic sensor-based monitoring of large-scale reinforced concrete structures, and 3) repairing and retrofitting reinforced concrete structures with fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) materials. Highly qualified candidates with any of the following backgrounds are particularly encouraged to apply: 1. Machine learning and deep learning, particularly for time-series modeling 2. Structural health monitoring (SHM), including fiber-optic sensor applications 3. Reinforced concrete structures, fiber-reinforced polymer materials 4.
