Postdoctoral Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist to join the Laboratory for Experimental Medicine (LEM). This role is a part of a multi-disciplinary group of scientists collaborating on innovation research, immunogenicity, and biomarker studies.

Responsibilities

Drive innovation and perform hypothesis driven research to investigate novel biomarkers and biological pathways that are aligned with company therapeutic areas.Stay current of scientific literature and regulatory guidelines, and design and develop novel assays for immunogenicity assessment and biomarker studies to support development and regulatory approval of new molecular entities, including novel modalities.In collaboration with the Reagents, Mass Spectrometry, and Antibody Engineering groups, evaluate or contribute to the evaluation of new technologies, techniques, software, and/or equipment.Contribute to scientific field through publication of peer-reviewed scientific articles and conference presentations.

Minimum Requirements

Ph.D. in a scientific field (biology, biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology, or similar),

Good lab techniques (for instance, cell-based assays, flow cytometry, and ligand binding assays) and ability to generate high quality data.Strong initiative and self-propelled attitude to learning, innovation, and problem-solving.Desire to work in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment.Ability to perform hypothesis driven research.Knowledge and experience with diseases and therapeutic areas that align with company interests.Strong publication record.Ability to present data and summarize conclusions in written and oral forms.Ability to influence and mentor other individuals.Strong interpersonal skills.

Additional Information:

This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend up to two more years. You will have opportunities to apply for full time positions after your duration is complete.
