At CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy our focus is patient-centered care. Our level I trauma center and academic medical center campus is designed to heal the body mind and spirit of every person in a more comfortable less stressful hospital environment. Our full range of medical services includes trauma services heart and vascular care emergency services surgery maternity cancer care and diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment while delivering quality patient care  Collect, read, and interpret assigned patient’s health historyCreate and implement care plans in collaboration with other care team membersAdminister medications to patients and educate caregivers when necessaryServe as leader and teammateEnsure your team is positioned to deliver the best care possible to our patientsMaintain a high level of engagement with the floor- visibly connecting with nurses, patients, and familiesAttend meetings with leadership to learn about new initiatives, areas for improvement, etc. and share that information with your teamMonitor productivity and efficiency of your departmentMentor people on your team. Share your knowledge and confidence with assistant nurse managers, charge nurses, and others
Qualifications
Diploma in Nursing from accredited nursing program or Associates Degree in Nursing requiredActive Nebraska Registered Nursing License2 years of previous nursing experience Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association (AHA BLS) 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
