Postpartum Educator/RN

Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Administrative Intern to join our team!

 

JOB SUMMARY:  

Participates in the implementation of hospital policies and procedures. Maintains open communication with all staff to promote improvement in performance. This position requires a sound knowledge of nursing practice and exceptional leadership abilities.


Works collaboratively with the unit-specific educators, department manager, department supervisor, the DON and the compliance team to support in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating educational activities for all postpartum staff; specifically focusing on nursing and clinical aspects.


Assists with and oversees general, clinical, and nursing orientation as well as professional development including in-services and continuing education. The roles of the educator include: educator, facilitator, change agent, collaborator, advisor, mentor, consultant, researcher, and leader.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete assigned administration tasks as needed to help support the VP role. Assist with various leadership responsibilities such as writing instructions, procedures, guides, and manuals to describe and improve the workflow and efficacy of the administrations operational methods. Performs various other duties as assigned to enhance the operational effectiveness.
