Poultry House Technician Location: Lebanon, CT AND Voluntown, CT Employment Type: Full-Time- 5AM-130PM Job Description: Seeking a dedicated and skilled Poultry Processing Technician to join our dynamic team. Our facility is committed to providing high-quality poultry products while ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. As a Poultry Processing Technician, you will play a vital role in the processing, inspection, and packaging of poultry products. Key Responsibilities: + Operate and maintain processing equipment to ensure efficient production. + Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and industry best practices for processing and handling poultry. + Conduct quality inspections throughout the processing stages to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. + Support the training of new staff on proper processing techniques and safety protocols. + Monitor line operations and troubleshoot any issues that arise during processing. + Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in accordance with food safety regulations. + Assist in inventory management and ensure timely reporting of supply needs. + Communicate regularly with Farm Management + Maintain biosecurity and follow biosecurity regulations. + Keep house and equipment clean and sanitary. Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent + Previous experience in poultry processing or a similar Farm environment is preferred but not required + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks. + Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
