**Job Title: Powder Coat/Paint Line** **Job Description** Currently seeking a 1st shift painter at our vinyl facility located in Norwalk, IA. This individual sets the standards for quality units in the production areas. **Responsibilities** + Utilize a gravity-fed paint gun. + Read orders and pull parts as needed. + Apply main coats and finishes. + Conduct quality checks on completed units. + Clean and maintain painting equipment. + Concentrate and pay close attention to detail. **Essential Skills** + Experience with industrial painting. + Proficiency in powder coating. + Ability to perform paint prep tasks. + Skill in coating application. + Experience with paint sprayers. + Troubleshooting painting equipment issues. + Experience with racking systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + At least 1 year of painter experience. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, and dental. Although overtime is not currently frequent, it may be required during busy periods. The Norwalk facility is a newer factory environment that is not temperature controlled. Personal protective equipment such as a respirator and Tyvek suit is required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Des Moines, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
