**Powder Coat Technician** **- Urgently Hiring** **Job Description** Works under the direction of the Production Supervisor. The main function is to operate equipment related to the powder coat operation such as parts washer, shot blaster, spray booth, and cure oven. Assemble and disassemble masking plates and plugs on components in preparation for and processing after the powder coat process. Dispositioning parts for quality inspection and for racking in designated areas. **Responsibilities** + Safely operate shop and warehouse equipment including forklifts, pneumatic tools, hoists, and small hand tools. + Accurately complete manufacturing-related documentation. + Assemble and disassemble masking plates, and clean masking components as needed. + Handle components using a chain hoist to hang/offload from conveyor system. + Safely operate parts washer, shot blaster, spray booth, and cure oven. + Work overtime as required to meet customer delivery dates. + Other duties may be assigned. **Essential Skills** + Assembly + Powder coating + Mechanical assembly + Mechanical aptitude + Pneumatic tool operation + Power tool operation **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum High School Diploma or GED. + Basic mechanical aptitude. + Prior machine operation experience. + Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hoists, and basic hand tools. + Prior experience in an ISO 9001 Certified Manufacturing environment is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Great company offering excellent benefits and long-term opportunities for career growth. **Work Environment** New facility with an open warehouse/production floor equipped with fans.
