Summary/Objective: This position will be responsible for assisting in the powder coating/paint process. The Powder Line Associate will work in an assembly-line environment where product unhangs from the line, powder coated, oven-baked, and conveyed to a packaging station. This person will then aid in packaging finished goods. This position reports to the Operations Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to read blueprints and communicate with co-workers Ability to set up, run, and operate machinery Counting is required to maintain accurate tracking system Must report any equipment issues to department Lead Will be required to do periodic quality checks Equipment used on the job includes racking fixtures, hooks, bins and pallet jacks Perform other duties as assigned To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week. 1st shift located in the Brandon, South Dakota plant. Hours are Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm, some Fridays may be mandatory 5am - 11am. Travel: No travel required for this role. Preferred Education and Experience: Manufacturing/Industry experience.
