Client is seeking a Power BI Consultant with at least 5 years experience in BI and Analytics and 1-2 years in the following primary skills:MS Power BI Desktop/Service (1+ year at least )SQL Server Analysis Service-Tabular(2 years)DAX /Power Query (1 year)And these secondary skills with any amount of exposure:Dimensional modelingData Warehouse (Kimball)T-SQLThe right candidate will also have strong knowledge of Data Management, Business Intelligence and Analytics concepts (ETL, Data Lake, Data Governance/MDM, Data Quality, etc), as well as, strong knowledge of MSBI stack (PowerBI, SSIS/SSAS/SSRS)Daily duties will include:Work with an agile delivery team to iteratively design, build and implement a BI service in collaboration with a Business and Tech LeadEnsure that all relevant aspects of data model (granularity, etc.) are consideredApply technical expertise managing and maintaining the BI environmentWork independently/collaboratively as neededAble to prioritize ongoing project work with new tasksResponsible for the development and support of reports.
