The Opportunity:
The Power BI Developer provides support to NSWC Corona’s Performance Assessment Operations Department. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions for our customer using Microsoft Power BI.
Responsibilities:
Data Modeling: Design and maintain robust data models that accurately represent data relationships and support effective reporting.
Data Transformation: Develop and implement ETL processes to transform raw data into usable formats for analysis.
Report and Dashboard Development: Create interactive and visually compelling reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to deliver insights to end-users.
Data Integration: Connect Power BI to various data sources, including databases, APIs, and cloud services.
Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards for efficient data loading and responsiveness.
Data Security: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver customized solutions.
Maintenance and Updates: Continuously monitor and update reports and data models to reflect changing business needs and data sources.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to enable them to effectively use Power BI for decision-making.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must have 3 years’ experience with the following:
Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
Strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, M, and Power Query.
Proficiency in data visualization and dashboard creation.
Experience with data integration and database systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities in English both written and oral are required to effectively identify and discuss requirements with the customer and internal teams.
Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with Power BI features.
Must be a US Citizen
Desired:
Power BI certification(s).
Experience with SQL and database management.
Knowledge of data ethics and compliance.
Creative design skills for engaging data visualizations.
Secret Clearance
Familiarity with the Navy/DOD
Experience working with SharePoint

Pay Range:
This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.
Minimum Required Hourly Wage:
$31.31
