IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced PowerBI Developer to support our VA-ESOM- End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract across the United States.
Dedicated Power BI developer with a track record of translating complex data into actionable insights. Must be proficient in data modeling, DAX and data transformation from multiple sources. Ability to create visually engaging reports and dashboards that harness the full potential of Power BI.
This is an opportunity to solve problems at the Department of Veterans Affairs by employing a user centric design methodology to develop and automate dashboards that will be utilized by VA senior leadership to leverage real-time data to make informed decisions. Working as a collaborative team member, you will ensure accessibility for all users by developing front-end functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. This position will allow remote delivery.
Location: This position will be performed remotely and will support Eastern Time working hours.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Management Information Systems, Engineering or related field AND 8 years of experience; advanced degree, or relevant professional certification (e.g. PMP) may serve as a substitution.
+ Experience with Microsoft PowerBI developer, data visualization, data analytics, and dashboards.
+ Experience with Microsoft PowerBI Desktop.
+ Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
+ Data Source Connectivity and Power Query for data connection and transformation
+ Experience in an object-oriented language (e.g. Java, C++, or C#)
+ Experience with data storage and analysis (e.g. SQL)
+ Understanding of cybersecurity and risk management
+ Detail oriented problem solver, with the ability to identify data anomalies
+ Prior experience documenting processes and user manuals
+ Ability to work independently to achieve successful results with minimal guidance
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in a software developer or data science role
+ Experience with SharePoint Online and O365
+ Experience with scripting (e.g. JavaScript, Python)
+ Experience with web application development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java or .NET-based tools)
+ Prior experience with ServiceNow
+ Prior VA experience
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance:
+ Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
