Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
The Sales Representative is responsible for selling power distribution products and services to new and existing clients for our Power Management division throughout San Antonio and Austin, TX markets.
Establish and maintain relationships with customers and interface with them on a daily basisFocus on customer service and selling power distribution products and services to the commercial sector in a designed territoryBuild ongoing personal and professional relationships with customers by performing weekly site visitsPrepare competitive quotes and proposals consistent with winning trends in the marketplaceQuote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtainedPrepare weekly call reports, and dashboards to track and forecast opportunities utilizing CRM softwareEnters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer databaseMeet or exceed sales goals Plan sales work on a long-term basis by setting quotas on calls made to potential and current clients and the potential of sales for each established accountDevelop new accounts for continued sales growthTravel through assigned territory
Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree and three to five years pertinent sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience with power distribution to include switchgear, switchboard, panel boards, transformers and relays desiredPossess good problem-solving skills while being able to effectively resolve customer concernsA proven track record of sales and customer service successesSkilled negotiatorResults-oriented, self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skillsMust be an effective written and oral communicatorMust be proficient in the use of technology tools which are required to sustain effective sales planning and communications to internal and external customersMust have valid drivers’ license and clean driving recordAbility to travel as needed
