**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a Field Service Power Generation technician to join our team at in Lethbridge. This is a great opportunity to join Cummins ! If you have a background in heavy duty mechanics and have an interest in PG work-we want to chat with you ! **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + **Complete preventative maintenance and/or basic repair activities on Generator or component at the customer site with minimal direction.** + Engage customers in a courteous and professional manner. Anticipates and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs. + Apply the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and tools Escalates unresolved issues to more experienced + Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field. + Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor. + Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens. + Complete training in line with skill and business requirements. + Maintain service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation. + Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:** + Red seal certification (in Heavy duty mechanics) is mandatory. + Current relevant electrical certification is an asset + Locally valid driving permit + This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. + Basic mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. + High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. **Compensation and Benefits** Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
