Overview

 

This is a temporary position expecting to last 6 months with the possibility of an extension or conversion to permanent employment. We are currently seeking a Power BI Developer/Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and administering Power BI dashboards and reports, while also ensuring optimal performance and security of the Power BI environment. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze requirements and transform data into actionable insights that drive business performance. This role will also include maintaining the Power BI infrastructure and managing user access and permissions.

Full Job Description

The division of Information Technology Services is currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join their team as a Power BI Admin. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering Power BI solutions to meet our business intelligence and reporting needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design data models, develop reports and dashboards, and manage the Power BI environment.

 

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Power BI administration and platform operations.

Core Skill Requirements

 

Experience and knowledge with design, development, deployment, & administration experience with chatbots, and unassisted self-help Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business needs. Manage Power BI access and permissions, ensuring the security and integrity of the data.  Optimize Power BI datasets for performance and usability.  Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance.  Solid understand and experience Microsoft Power Platform admin, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, environments, monitoring, and operability of Power BI reports. Should have exp as Power BI admin to manage workspaces, capacities, deployments, etc. Experience incorporating AI models for tasks like text recognition Good understanding on how to Embed Power BI reports and dashboards within Power Apps Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Administrator Responsibilities

 

Process implementation /admin kind of experience along with general BI strategy.  Supervise the design of data models and necessary designs to implement high-performing Microsoft BI solutions and Power BI Reports. Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives and stakeholders, recommending alternative tools and techniques for solving complex and ambiguous requirements.  Engage in effective client stakeholder management, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.  Collaborate with clients to understand their tactical and strategic goals.  Assist clients in defining their analytics roadmap and strategy, ensuring that Power BI solutions contribute to their overall goals.  Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Power BI to provide valuable insights and thought leadership to clients. Incorporate AI models for tasks like text recognition Embed Power BI reports and dashboards within Power Apps Keys to Success

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $44,450 - $103,002. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
