OST is successful because we listen to our clients, we learn from our clients, and we know our clients.     Power Platform Developer     Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions using Power Platform technologies such as Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents Design, develop, and customize Power Apps to create user-friendly and responsive applications focusing on user-friendly interfaces, data integration, and business logic implementation Develop and implement data connectors for external systems integration Create and optimize workflows using Power Automate to automate manual and repetitive processes, improving efficiency and productivity Develop interactive and insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI to provide data-driven insights and support informed decision-making Design, build, and deploy chatbots and virtual agents using Power Virtual Agents to enhance customer interactions and self-service capabilities Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft and third-party applications and services as required     Position Requirements:  10+ years of experience Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field Familiarity with the types of solutions available in Power Platform, which include Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents Knowledge of how to edit components within a managed solution in Power Apps Understanding of what a service principal is and how to use it within Power Platform to automate authentication and authorization Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies in Power Platform and how to implement them to protect data Ability to list and explain the types of Dataverse tables, which include standard, activity, virtual, and custom tables Skills in importing data into Dataverse and knowledge of the available options for data import Familiarity with the types of Power Automate cloud flows, including automated, instant, and scheduled flows Awareness of performance considerations when designing Power Automate cloud flows, such as trigger frequency, action limits, and loop controls Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous workflows, their differences, and appropriate use cases for each in Power Platform Knowledge of what a business process and a business rule are in model-driven PowerApps Ability to integrate Model-Driven PowerApps with SharePoint document libraries and to explain the benefits of such integration Familiarity with what Power Pages is and, if applicable, the ability to describe solutions implemented using Power Pages Salesforce is nice to have ​ Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance     This is a full-time position paying a base salary of $ 70,000, and full benefits, and has possible bonus potential based on merit and performance.
