CGI is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, Power Platform developer to join a high-performing Agile team in designing and building modern, services-based web applications in support of contracts for a large government agency. This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
- Solution Architecture: Oversee the design and development of Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate workflows, Power Virtual Agents chatbots, and Power BI reports. Ensure that designs are scalable, secure, and efficient.
- Design, Develop & Maintain Solutions: Build custom applications, workflows and dashboards using Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams & Stakeholders: Work closely with business users to understand requirements and translate them into effective, scalable Power Platform solutions. Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, data architects, and project managers to define solution requirements and design solutions that address business needs effectively.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of Liquid templates, FetchXML, and Common Data Service (Dataverse).
- Experience with integrating Power Platform solutions with external systems cloud-based systems.
- Experience with Azure Functions, PowerShell, and REST APIs is a plus.
Experience:
- 2-4+ years of experience in software development and/or IT consulting.
- 1+ years of software development experience using Microsoft Power Platforms, Databases, and Cloud Infrastructure, i.e. Azure or AWS.
- Experience in low-code/no-code development and business process automation.
- Well-versed in web technologies and modern architecture and is familiar with best practices
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact with project and client leadership, business stakeholders users, and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,700.00 - $154,300.00.
