Power Platform Developer
Description Robert Half's client in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Power Platform Developer. The Microsoft Power Platform Developer will lead the development of a custom-built Project Management application to streamline internal processes and enhance collaboration. This application will require continuous improvement, maintenance, and refinement over time. As the application matures, the developer will identify and address other organizational needs by designing and implementing Power Platform-based solutions. This role reports directly to the IT Director and works closely with IT team members and key stakeholders across the organization to ensure solutions align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: + Project Management Application Development: + Design, build, and implement a scalable Project Management application using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. + Collaborate with the IT Director and stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure the application evolves to meet business needs. + Continuously improve and maintain the application, incorporating feedback and new functionalities. + Power Platform Solutions: + Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in other areas of the organization. + Develop and deploy additional applications, workflows, and dashboards as new business needs arise. + Governance and Security: + Configure role-based access control and permissions to ensure data security and compliance. + Implement governance policies and enforce best practices to protect sensitive data and maintain system integrity. + Collaboration and Support: + Collaborate with IT team members to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure. + Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and provide technical guidance to business users and stakeholders. + Deliver user training and create comprehensive documentation to support adoption and long-term usage. + Monitor and manage project timelines, risks, and milestones to ensure timely delivery. Requirements Qualifications and Skills: + Proficiency in Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate, with expertise in licensing management. + Strong understanding of business analysis techniques, including process mapping, gap analysis, and stakeholder engagement. + Familiarity with project management principles, including agile development and iterative improvement cycles. + Knowledge of IT infrastructure, PCs, and network systems. + Solid background in security best practices, including role-based access control and data protection. + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript) and database systems (e.g., SQL Server, SharePoint). + Certifications in Power Platform (e.g., PL-100, PL-400), business analysis (e.g., CBAP), or project management (e.g., PMP, Agile). + Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, and other Microsoft ecosystem technologies.
