Power Platform/Fabric – Developer
ASSA ABLOY group has seen a high increase in usage of Power BI, Apps and Automation in recent years and the insights of the potential for powerful business solutions based on Power Platform are rapidly growing. We have started work on formalizing a global Center of Excellence team to better coordinate and support the activities out in the organization. An additional capability to this is also to be able to support Central functions like e.g. Finance and Global IT to become a more data-driven organization taking the data to be presented in a visual appealing way with the use of Power BI, Apps and Automation. With joint efforts together with business we try to democratize data and bring business intelligence tools in play the best possible way, transforming the way businesses operate and make decisions ahead.
About the role
As a Power Platform and Fabric Developer you will work closely with our stakeholders to quickly understand their needs and requirements to be able to develop the needed end2end solutions which could include both Power Automate and Apps and some visualized reports, dashboards in Power BI based on well-thought-out models and best practices.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform suite. This includes Power Automate, Power Apps, and the Fabric services like Power BI, Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering etc. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, develop innovative solutions, and provide technical expertise to drive our mission of empowering users with data-driven insights.
You’ll be working with integrations with both traditional data warehouses and data lakes, but also directly from the source systems and thereafter visualizing the data with Power BI to achieve a great user experience.
We are on an exciting journey, building up this capability within our CoE to be able to utilize the Power Platform as its best together. You will become an important part of the growth of this Team with focus on developing business solutions within the Power Platform.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy custom applications and solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to meet business needs Create and optimize data models, perform complex data analysis, and develop DAX queries to build robust and scalable solutions according to agreed standards and policies Design and implement interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports in Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and relevance Work collaboratively with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications. Automate business processes and workflows using Power Automate Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance to ensure the reliability and performance of deployed solutions Take part of proof-of-concept initiatives with the business and suggest solution designs that involves Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Azure services in a hybrid world Continuously update your knowledge of the Power Platform and related technologies, attending training sessions, webinars, and industry conferences Help identify and troubleshoot performance issues Work closely with support as an escalation point
Required skills and qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in DAX, M language, and SQL. Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases. Knowledge of Report optimization techniques
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex business problems, design efficient solutions, and implement them effectively UI/UX Design: Experience in creating user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces in Power Apps and Power BI Integration Skills: Knowledge of integrating Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services (e.g., Azure, Dynamics 365) and third-party applications via APIs and connectors Automation: Expertise in automating business processes using Power Automate, including approval workflows, notifications, and data synchronization Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working in cross-functional teams Desirable skillsThe ideal candidate also brings some of the following:
A good understanding of the broader Microsoft cloud eco-system (Microsoft 365, Azure) PowerShell skills Experience with advanced analytics and machine learning models in Power BI. Familiarity with Agile development practices and experience working in Agile teams. Understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with Microsoft Azure.
