Description: The Power Quality Specialist 4 role focuses on third-party Electrical QA/QC and commissioning. This lead position at Prism embodies our company’s values and standards. As a specialist, you will perform your duties while mentoring junior technicians/specialists and fostering customer relationships. + Conduct electrical QA/QC in accordance with NEC code, city regulations, and customer specifications. + Verify that installations align with drawings and documentation. + Identify and report installation deficiencies observed in the field. + Collaborate with contractors to enhance the overall quality of installations. + Work with contractors, general contractors, system owners, and authorities to resolve quality issues. + Review and audit electrical testing documentation. + Participate in all related coordination, planning, reporting, and construction meetings. Additional Skills & Qualifications: + Perform electrical QA/QC using NEC code + semiconductor OR construction industry experience + Proficient in complex switching procedures and best practices for various equipment, including GIS, low voltage switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, and emergency generators. Familiar with NETA ATS-MTS standards, OSHA-10, NEC code, NFPA-70E, city codes, and electrical blueprint reading.
