Core Functions-Tasks / Key Results Expected
Post Title: Power Supply Subsystem Manager
Supervisor/Line Manager: Project Director
1. Ensure compliance with and proper application of reference processes, methods, and tools, requesting waivers when necessary.
2. Conduct kickoff meetings with the Project Design team to verify input documents and align on subsystem and system testing.
3. Develop the project Verification and Validation (V&V) Plan.
4. Coordinate and oversee project verification and integration activities, spanning design, technical files, procurement, FAT, shipping, and on-site installation.
5. Ensure full coverage of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, including functional and safety requirements.
6. Guarantee accurate implementation of all requirements by verifying and validating all project parameters and data.
7. Organize and lead V&V document reviews with design and interface teams.
8. Ensure independence of verification processes, where verifiers are separate from the authors of deliverables being verified and from the quality team testing requirements on-site.
9. Prepare and submit reports as required by client processes or specific project needs (e.g., change request reports, etc.).
10. Define the project management plan, total cost offer (TCO), FAT for electrical equipment, and requirements for manpower, tools, materials, and equipment for electrical works.
11. Update biweekly planning with a focus on delivery schedules and short-term activity lookaheads.
12. Attend weekly client meetings for progress updates and coordination.
13. Liaise with the procurement team and suppliers for material follow-ups and provide updates to top management with weekly reports on project progress and material status.
14. Manage and order required materials and review completed work for quality and compliance.
15. Monitor actual work performance against the project budget and schedule, addressing discrepancies.
16. Collaborate with other disciplines and the client's on-site representative as directed by management.
17. Ensure all activities are executed using the latest design documentation.
18. Provide leadership in safety, accident prevention, and fire safety programs throughout the project.
19. Use company software tools to track data and manage document deliverable requirements.
20. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring work is safely executed within budget, on schedule, and to quality standards.

Qualifications/Experience required
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, MBA/Masters/PMP is a plus.
Experience:
15+ Proven working experience in project management in Rail/Construction filed.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Language Requirements: English /Arabic
Arabic & English is a must, French is a plus.
