Job Description
We are looking for a very strong Powerapps Technical Lead to join a new Financial Crimes squad that is being built. He or she will be focused on delivering the following:
* Responsible for defining architecture and design patterns primarily related to the consistent and efficient integration of common technical and data services into application architectures using Power Platform.
* Partner with Architect in the creation of high-level designs for select common technical and information services where necessary to guide implementation
* Responsible for driving compliance with established software development lifecycle and release process
* Understand business requirements in order to design business and technical services (capabilities)
* Create and communicate technical strategy and roadmap to execute target state
* As Design authority work with development team to make sure the solutions are built as per target state
* Collaborate with stake holders, both onshore & offshore, across the IT organization and business as needed
Compensation: $60-70/HR
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements
- 8+ years of experience within Power Apps and Power Platform
- Expertise in designing and building large-scale highly available, resilient, secure, scalable, cloud-native, digital enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform
- Deep subject-matter expertise developing Model-driven PowerApps and managed solutions
- Hands-on experience and implementation of business process workflows and logic using Microsoft Power Automate cloud flows
- Expert knowledge of Dataverse and other data aggregation, retention and analysis solutions like SQL, Snowflake, NoSQL
- Experience with large scale database design using Dataverse, Power Apps Data Flows and Data Connectors
- Demonstrated experience with CI/CD for Power Platform solutions
- Implemented systems and data integration using the various Power Platform connectors like Oracle connector, Office 365 connector, Dataverse (Common Data Services connector) and SharePoint connector
- Experience in building and using custom connectors and APIs in Power Platform
- Experience with using JavaScript to customize model-driven Power Apps
- Familiarity with analytics and reporting capabilities using Microsoft Power BI
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions using Microsoft Power Platform
- Lead and own the analysis, design, development, security, deployment, and support of solutions within the Power Platform ecosystem (Power BI, Model-Driven Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.).
- Thought leadership from ideation to production delivery and support of large scale, enterprise Power Platform solutions
- Shown an understanding and consistent record for cloud-based solutions, continuous integration/deployment and serverless architecture
- Experience with strong large-scale data, data ingesting, enriching, modeling, workflow, central rules engine for metrics calculations/reporting
- Experience with designing and architecting analytics/reporting tools/solutions
- Ability to own the outcomes, provide mentorship and guidance to more junior team members
- Customer obsessed while balancing delivery speed, product quality, and production stability
- Proven experience communicating technical needs and capabilities to non- technical team members, product owners and partners - Proven PowerApps Component Framework (PCF) experience
- Experience developing canvas Power Apps
- Experience with Power Platform Pipelines
- Knowledge of cloud-based, high-stream event messaging systems like Kafka or message queues is a plus
- Working experience with PowerApps and Power Automate test automation using Katalon, Microsoft Test Studio, Power Automate Desktop or Playwright is a plus
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Java, C++, Javascript/TypeScript null
