Description We are offering an immediate contract opportunity for a PowerBI Developer in the Financial Transaction Processing industry, based in Edina, Minnesota, United States. In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise, data analytical skills, and familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools to support key initiatives that optimize our reporting capabilities, improve data quality, and streamline operational efficiency. Responsibilities: • Validate and ensure data quality and accuracy of the Business Intelligence team's reporting views • Use your experience in data quality testing and validation to identify and resolve inconsistencies • Assist in the SQL object conversions as part of the migration process • Work with tools such as Microsoft Power BI and SSRS to support conversion and reporting efforts • Create and implement reusable datasets that can serve multiple reporting needs • Apply advanced SQL querying skills for data transformation using transactional data in the absence of a data warehouse • Configure and optimize Power BI settings to better align with business requirements • Address ongoing refresh issues and ensure security, organization, and distribution processes are formalized • Document newly established processes and best practices for future reference and scalability • Leverage your understanding of SAP data to support consistent data integration. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years' experience developing Power BI and SSRS reports.. • Knowledge of BusinessObjects Technologies for enterprise reporting. • Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies for software development. • Strong analytics skills to interpret complex data. • Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) to support data-driven decision making. • Experience in SAP S4/HANA is required.
