GovCIO is currently hiring for PowerBI Developer to support business intelligence dashboarding and data management. This position will be located in Stafford/Quantico, VA and will be a hybrid position.
ResponsibilitiesDevelops and updates PowerBI reports as well as providing guidance/insight to improve customer workflow and decision-making. Manages data, evaluates its results, and display them as required per customer direction. This position requires extensive understanding of modeling, databases, data warehousing, data integration, and technical elements of business intelligence technologies. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical abilities are required.
Utilizes business intelligence tools such as PowerBI to effectively combine, analyze, and display metric data in online shared environmentsUtilizes relational database development and management tools, such as Oracle OBA and/or Microsoft SQL Server development and management tools, etc., to design and create software and database systemsInterprets and evaluates accuracy of results through iterative, agile methodsWorks closely with data SMEs, business, and management to prioritize business and information needs QualificationsEducation/Training Requirements:
High School with 9+ years of PowerBI focused workSecret ClearanceDOD 8570 IAT Level II
Required Skills and Experience
Expertise in developing and optimizing business intelligence (BI) reports and dashboardsIn-depth knowledge of data modeling and data visualization conceptsAdvanced knowledge of business intelligence language(s) used for report customizationStrong knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and extraction
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with project lifecycle project coordination activitiesExperience conducting preliminary analysis and feasibility studies in order to identify user requirements, management issues and objectives, and provide alternative solutionsExperience conducting analyses of complex systems to create design and screen layouts, reports, tables, and queries#NSS #DSG #TMK

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.
