PowerBuilder Developer
Position Description:

CGI Federal is looking for a remote PowerBuilder developer for a program we support for the Air Force. In this position, you will research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. Bring your passion for development to a Top Workplaces USA company. This position can be located remotely anywhere in the U.S.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for the maintenance and modification of the system and its related software modules, including but not limited to, systems analysis, design, programming, testing, deployment, ongoing customer support and documentation
• Experience with administrative and project management using an Agile approach
• Translate the functional requirements and clearly document technical maintenance (i.e., software guides, architectures, help files)
• Provide technical briefings/reports, CDRLs, demonstrations, and attending meetings as required
• Update Interface Control Documents (ICD) as appropriate
• Participating in programmatic meetings and reviews to ensure compliance with all system development functions

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Math or Engineering
• 3-7 years of experience in PowerBuilder (2017 or higher) XML, MS Windows and Office 365 products, as well as standard transfer protocols e.g. IBM MQ Series, FTP and SFTP, SQL experience
• Experience with object-oriented software design and development Oracle Database 12c and up experience
• Must have an active DoD IAT Level II certification or higher I.E. Security+, CISSP
• Must be willing to attain a CASP certification within 90 days of hire
• US Citizenship required
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Experience with .NET, C#, SnapDevelop preferred
• Ability to work with a small team and manage multiple stakeholders
• Clear communication and documentation of work
• Has current CAC or has had one in the recent past / worked with DoD preferably Air Force

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800.00 - $168,900.00.
