Powerplant Technician II

Savannah, GA (Monday - Thursday 10-hour days)

As the Powerplant Technician II for Rolls-Royce, your role will be focused on primarily supporting the Business Aviation Integrated Power Plant System podding operation and supplementing the team supporting Gulfstream’s production operation. In this role, you will need to be ability to lift engine components weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.

Key Accountabilities:

Comply with work scope instructions as directed by our operations and engineering groupsAssemble engines together with power plant and nacelle components to build integrated power plant systems and use intermediate troubleshooting logic to identify defects in components or partsAccess and use engine data materials such as aircraft maintenance manual, engine maintenance manual, etc.Understand, interpret and apply service bulletins, FAA advisory directives andtechnical variances when applicableMust be able to work occasional evening shifts and required overtime as needed

Basic Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul experience, ORAssociates egree with 1+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaulIn order to be considered eligible for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Requirements:

FAA Airframe & Power Plant LicensePrior customer relations experienceEngine or Aircraft logbook familiarityUnderstanding of basic to intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel functionality
