Tom Wood Powersports Anderson, is seeking a full-time Powersports Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses a passion for both mechanics and outdoor recreation, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. 

 

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturdays 

 

Responsibilities:  

Diagnose complex problems on multiple manufacturer’s products by using latest diagnostic equipment  Complete complex repairs within timelines specified by the manufacturer and dealership.Perform routine maintenance and assembly of new units  Perform additional functions in the dealership as needed, including but not limited to service writing, parts counter assistance, unit pickup and delivery, and assisting apprentice techs as needed  Attend periodic training in remote locations as well as on-site   

Qualifications:  

Strong passion for the powersports industryFormal training, preferably with one of the major metric motorcycle manufacturers and or MMIProven experience in powersports or automotive repairMust have a “sales and customer service” attitude and aptitude and be able to communicate professionally with customers  Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safetyRequired- Valid driver’s license, with motorcycle endorsement plus a clean driving record
