Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated PPAP Coordinator to manage the process of farming out PPAPs for a recently consolidated manufacturing plant in Addison, Illinois. This position is crucial for ensuring timely submission and quality compliance of PPAPs. The role involves customer interaction and project management, with an emphasis on overseeing the PPAP submittal process.
ResponsibilitiesManage the process of farming out over 1000 outdated PPAPs.Oversee the PPAP submittal process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.Interact with customers to ensure all quality documentation is submitted on time.Create and edit PPAP documents, including First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.Potentially get involved with corrective action reporting.Support the Quality Engineers (QEs) in managing PPAP documentation.Ensure compliance with part tolerancing and GD&T standards.Essential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel.ERP knowledge for tracking inventory.Good understanding of PPAP and submittal processes (Level 1 minimum).Experience creating and editing PPAP documents.Associates or Bachelors Degree in Engineering is a plus.2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably metals or plastics manufacturing.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Level 2 and willingness to train on Level 3 PPAPs.Understanding of part tolerancing and GD&T.Automotive experience is beneficial.Work Environment
This position is located at a recently consolidated manufacturing plant in Addison, Illinois. The role will involve working closely with customers and the Quality Engineers team to ensure the timely submission of PPAP documentation. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00
