What You'll Do:
The Planned Preventative Maintenance Coordinator provides input and direction into the development and execution of the maintenance strategy on those issues dealing with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM). Owns and manages Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with respect to PPM.
What We’re Looking For:
Collaborate with Reliability and Maintenance Engineers to gather Preventive Maintenance (PPM) information for new and existing equipment. Update the CMMS system with new equipment data and changes from project teams. Ensure scheduled maintenance services are entered into the MMS based on equipment strategies. Assist in root cause investigations where PPM practices may be a factor. Identify and set up necessary training for performing PPM tasks. Track compliance of PPM task completion and report any issues to Plant Supervision and Reliability Engineer. Evaluate PPM activity results to ensure they meet desired outcomes and optimize intervals as needed. Work with MRO to ensure spare parts are correctly identified, attached to BOMs, and adequately stocked, supporting both new and demolished equipment.
Skills That Make a Difference:
High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited school. 3+ years of experience as a technical craftsperson. Ability to lead, advocate, and drive compliance and continuous improvement of maintenance strategies. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong critical thinking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, & SharePoint) Ability to read prints (P&IDs, Electrical Drawings, Equipment Parts Drawings). Familiarity with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) concepts. Must possess an understanding of the function and workings of utility and process equipment and systems, repairs, maintenance, construction, and awareness of energy sources and hazards within a chemical facility. Attention to detail in all aspects of the job: planning, reviewing, and completing paperwork, including resource identification (manpower, tools, equipment, parts). Good organizational techniques in order to deal with the large volume of work, complexity of jobs, and limited resources available periodically.Considered a Plus:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) Experience and knowledge with process, mechanical, instrumentation, HVAC, and/or power systems and equipment. Previous experience at a chemical plant / in chemical industry. Previous experience in SAP S/4 Hana PM module.
Working Conditions:
Must be willing/able to work in a plant environment and occasionally outdoors in inclement weather. Schedule will be a 40 hour week, 5, 8hr days. Eligible for flextime: 5x8hrs week 1, 4x10 week 2, or 4x9hrs and 1x4hr weekly. Flexible start and end time between 5:30 and 6:30am. Earliest end time 2:00 pm
