I. GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Machine operation and assembly of manufacturing parts. Interpret and apply specifications. Inspect parts according to drawings and requirements established in the area.
II. JOB COMPETENCIES:
1. Operate automatic machines such as: cutters, presses, bending machines and painting.
2. Make adjustments to machinery according to manufacturing procedures and/or drawings
ensuring safety, quality, productivity, cleanliness and organization.
3. Interpret drawings and graphics as required.
4. Adjust mechanical and pneumatic components to help the efficient operation of
the machinery.
5. Keep machinery and tools clean, organized and according to procedure.
6. Observe the operation and ensure that the processes meet the specifications,
quality and no scrap.
7. Identify deficiencies and repair or maintenance needs and manage the
same with the coordinator.
8. Assembly manufacturing parts per drawings.
9. Maintain inspection records required in the operation.
10. Document and report production, safety, and quality reports.
11. Move materials to feed the machinery.
12. Perform other tasks as assigned by their supervisor.
III. SPECIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Notify the need for substantial arrangements or changes in the operation.
2. Alert deficiency or condition that may affect the quality of the product.
3. Move materials with manual cart and/or forklift.
4. Responsible for equipment, cleaning, organization and materials in the work area.
5. Maintain consistency in production volumes - efficiency.
6. Maintain error-free consistency in production.
7. Keep the machines and work area clean.
8. Sense of Urgency.
IV. SPECIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Execute tasks in accordance with Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures
of the plant; preventing environmental pollution, observing that the rules of
safety are met by you and others, taking care of and properly using the equipment of
safety in the required tasks and contributing with their ideas to improve health and
safety of everyone in the plant.
2. Have good attendance and punctuality, complying with the provisions of the Program
for Absenteeism Control.
3. To exercise his/her function according to the training received.
4. Use and care of personal protective equipment.
5. Act and ensure their safety and that of their colleagues
6. Report any unsafe conditions to your Supervisor and/or Safety Officer.
7. Be attentive to the prevention of accidents in your work area.
8. Complete the work according to the Quality Framework and Itinerary of
Production.
9. Recognize that you have an obligation to stop work or shut down equipment if Safety
and/or product quality is affected during any process.
10. Understand the general rules of the Quality Management System and the
facility procedures.
11. Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities as required.
V. EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS, MACHINES AND TOOLS:
• Cutting, pressing and bending machine.
Drills.
Hand tools.
Forklifts.
Measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer, tape measure, shadowgraph, others).

VI. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Fourth year of High School.
Experience: Minimum two (2) years of minimum experience in related work (set-
up) of manufacturing, pneumatic and mechanical equipment.

**Pay Details:** $13.00 per hour
