Responsibilities

POSITION DUTIES:

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist physicians and paramedical personnel with physical examinations, minor surgical and diagnostic procedures.Measure and record vital signs.Administer prescribed medications by oral, topical, intradermal, subcutaneous and intramuscular routes.Provide written and verbal reports regarding patients care for inclusion in the patient's medical record.Prepare patients for tests, examinations, treatment, or minor surgery.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Licensure: Applicants must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Licenced Practical/Vocational Nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
