DESCRIPTION: Provide instruction in the theory and practical applications of practical nursing. Organize and conduct classes using a variety of learning experiences and activities that include lecture and lab materials. Supervise students in the clinical setting
MAJOR DUTIES:
ā¢ Develops program and course outlines, goals and objectives
ā¢ Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited technical/occupational courses
ā¢ Instruction in the clinical setting
ā¢ Evaluates studentsā progress in attaining goals and objectives
ā¢ Work well in the classroom and in supervising students at practicum or internship sites
ā¢ Maintaining program data necessary for accreditation
ā¢ Participation in professional development
ā¢ Requests and maintains supplies and equipment and prepares required budget requests
ā¢ Maintains program certification requirements, as appropriate
ā¢ Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports
ā¢ Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training area
ā¢ Meets with students, staff members and other educators to discuss studentsā instructional programs and other issues impacting the progress of the students
ā¢ Participate in college committees
ā¢ Assists with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts
ā¢ Must be willing to work flexible hours
ā¢ Other duties as assigned

Driverās License Requirement: Valid GA Driver License
