Practice Administrator
Job Title: Practice Administrator 

 

Job Summary:                                                   

CASES is looking for a dedicated Practice Administrator to oversee the CCBHC Program and lead our Clinic, Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Recovery Services. The Practice Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the clinical, operational, and financial success of our services, which aim to support adolescents and adults impacted by the criminal legal system and those residing in the surrounding community. Our comprehensive services include mental health, substance use, rehabilitative, and crisis support. We are seeking a leader who can ensure the effective delivery of these services and make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.


Salary: The salary range for the role is $90,000 - $100,000 per year.


Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00AM  - 5:00PM

 

Location Address: 2090 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard, New York, NY 10027. Our office is easily accessible by public transportation.


Workplace Flexibility: 

This position is Hybrid: Positions for which staff can work from a remote (home or another suitable space) one day per week or more (in a typical week) as by leadership. Occasional travel required.

 

What you will be doing: 

Manage oversight and leadership of the NCCBHCManage the NCCBHC management team comprised of Medical Director responsible for medical staff, Clinical Supervisors managing multidisciplinary care teams, and administrative supervisors to achieve standards of access and care consistent with NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative Services (MHOTRS) licensing and standards of care requirements and CCBHC Certification standardsLead operations with diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racist commitmentMaintain necessary staff fill levels; support staff retention and professional development through robust processes for onboarding, supervision, and trainingProvide administrative leadership and key liaison with co-located primary care partner the Institute for Family Health FQHC to manage partnership for integrated primary careImplement and enforce all regulatory standards, requirements and guidelines as it relates to state and local standards of care for youth and adults as required by OMH, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, and CCBHC certificationManage fiscal operations, including revenue, expenses, and program budgetLead business management practice operations (e.g., client access, scheduling, revenue cycle management, staff productivity), to achieve effectiveness and clinic’s fiscal healthCoordinate policy and procedure development and updates for clinical and business operations consistent with licensing, audits, CCBHC certification, and quality improvementCollaborate with the Medical Director to ensure that all services, clinical and non-clinical, are anti-racist, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, person-centered, and evidence-based.Work closely with the management team, leveraging data analytics and quality improvement techniques, to promote and achieve adherence to quality measures. Continuously enhance client and program outcomes, setting a standard for excellence.Coordinate relationships with key stakeholders CASES Pretrial & ATI programs, hospitals, housing providers, criminal justice stakeholders, MCOs, Independent Practice Association

 

What we are looking for: 

5+ years of leadership experienceProven competence in data-driven management of healthcare operationsProficiency with electronic health records and medical billing systemsIndividuals with lived experience are encouraged to apply

Preferred but not required:

Fluency in Spanish a plus
