Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Practice Builder to lead and expand our Land Development practice in Pleasanton, California!

Responsibilities The qualified individual will lead a Land Development team while building and managing relationships with key clients.Leadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principalsProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading a land development practiceOur Senior Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor.The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business.With success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownership. Qualifications 15+ years of relevant experience managing land development projectsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of CaliforniaExtensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land ownersStrong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected workAbility to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organizationAbility to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive mannerDemonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably

Base Salary Range:
