About the team 

The team specializes in delivering consulting services for back-office solutions, primarily focusing on contracts, settlements, and trade operations using Torestone and Phase 3 products.  We operate across multiple platforms, including SaaS and on-premises environments, catering to the fund accounting, investment management, and trade settlement sectors.  The team provides a range of consulting services, from initial system implementation to ongoing optimization and support.  Our consulting practice focuses on improving the efficiency of contracts and settlement processes, leveraging the strengths of Torestone and Phase 3 products.  

About the Role

Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and define business requirements related to Torestone and Phase 3 products, focusing on contracts and settlements.  Lead and support the implementation of customized solutions for clients, aligning with their specific back-office and operational needs.  Act as a key point of contact between clients and the development team, ensuring clear communication and seamless execution of client requirements.  Provide expertise in the optimization of contracts and settlement workflows, helping clients improve their processes.  Manage consulting assignments and projects, particularly those focusing on trade operations and post-trade settlement services.  

What You Will Be Doing

Partnering with clients to understand their business needs and translating those into detailed functional specifications for Torestone and Phase 3 product implementations.  Collaborating with cross-functional internal teams, including developers and project managers, to deliver tailored client solutions.  Designing, testing, and validating solutions for contracts and settlements that meet both client requirements and regulatory standards.  Providing post-implementation support and ongoing consulting services to optimize clients' contract and settlement processes.  Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.) in all consulting deliverables.  Acting as a subject matter expert in contracts and settlement solutions for clients, advising on best practices and future improvements.

What You Will Need

A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.  At least 15 years of experience working in client-facing roles, with a focus on contracts and settlements in financial services.  Expertise in Torestone and/or Phase 3 products, with a solid understanding of post-trade settlement workflows.  Rich experience in Securities Processing domain.A deep understanding of back-office operations and the ability to collaborate with internal technical teams and external clients to deliver optimized solutions.  Strong communication skills, with experience in leading client engagements and managing stakeholder relationships.  The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring client satisfaction and timely delivery of services.Knowledge of fund accounting systems, Torestone, or similar platforms.  Hands-on experience with post-trade settlements, contract management, and reconciliation processes.Familiarity with SQL and database management for handling large sets of trade and settlement data.Experience in working with Excel and financial functions, with an understanding of trade settlement macros and add-ins.

Added Bonus If You Have

Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.Familiarity with UNIX/LINUX Navigation experience.Fluency in multiple languages for working with international clients.  A proactive approach to managing project timelines, delivering results under pressure, and working within global teams.
