The Practice Manager works independently to manage all team members and daily operations of designated physician practices. The Practice Manager supports the practices’ operational needs and provides oversight in the areas of team member and patient scheduling, material/supply management, billing compliance, information technology, and budget compliance. Duties require independent judgment and decision making and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of personnel within the organization.

Education & Training:
Bachelors Degree in business, accounting, or healthcare administration strongly preferred. Extensive healthcare experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Work Orientation & Experience:
Minimum of three years experience in a physician practice setting or business office;
Previous management experience;
Knowledge of third party insurance billing;
Previous experience with a computerized practice management system and EMR preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Must possess the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment, with minimal supervision.Demonstrated customer service experience; ability to work successfully with diverse types of individuals including management, physicians, staff and the general publicStrong oral and written communication skills.Strong organizational and analytical skills. Prior experience in an environment that required demonstration of analytical and decision making skills.Maintains knowledge of registration, coding, charge entry, billing, cash posting, collections, and administrative roles and responsibilities.Must demonstrate an aptitude for training others in practice management and customer service topics.Must be fluent in the use of the personal computer with prior experience using word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software.Additional Information
