**Job Summary:**
JOB SUMMARY
The Practice Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of assigned clinic(s). This position is responsible for enforcement of clinic policies and procedures; and filing/tracking insurance claims and performing collections activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversees daily office operations and delegates authority to assigned supervisors
• Assists supervisors in developing and implementing short-and long-term work plans and objectives for clerical functions
• Assists supervisors in understanding/implementing clinic policies and procedures
• Develops guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying activities as necessary. Ensure that office is staffed appropriately
• Assists in the recruiting, hiring, orientation, development, and evaluation of clerical staff
• Establishes and maintains an efficient and responsive patient flow system
• Oversees and approves office supply inventory, ensures that mail is opened and processed, and offices are opened and closed according to procedures
• Supports and upholds established policies and procedures, objectives and quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control, and codes requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies
• Plans and directs registration, patient insurance, billing and collections, and data processing to ensure accurate patient billing and efficient account collections
• Collaborates with administrative staff and physicians to optimize efficiency of a variety of related services ranging from inpatient care to outpatient follow-up care
• Participates in human resource planning including hiring, training, supervision and evaluating personnel and their work
• Monitors patient service feedback and helps resolve complaints and service issues
• Coordinates activities with other clinical managers, administrative staff and physicians
