Responsible for providing daily operations to focus on staff management, responding to physician, patient, and staff concerns, and budget management. Works with patients to resolve customer service issues and maximize revenue cycle collections. Formulates and implements shared priorities and goals for providing optimal customer service, increasing operational efficiency, ensuring financial viability, and providing high-quality health care services.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Ensures and manages guidelines, policies, and procedures in adherence to the organization and establishes protocols for day-to-day operations.
2. Provides and maintains supplies and equipment and maintains appropriate inventory management and budgetary controls.
3. Complies with the financial policies and procedures governing cash collections and reconciliation and ensures necessary cash controls are monitored and followed.
4. Orients, trains, assigns, schedules, directs, and supervises departmental staff.
5. Ensures and manages the exposure of communicable diseases, hazardous materials, and pharmacological agents to minimize risk and follows a standard health precaution.
6. Reviews, evaluates, and monitors work schedules, workflow, and duty assignments of the staff and provide updates as required.
7. Monitors patient complaints and issues to identify opportunities for service improvement.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
