Corewell Health Pulmonary Medicine guides and supports patients treating a range of lung related illnesses from acute and chronic bronchitis to tuberculosis. This practice is a multi-site, in Royal Oak, pulmonary care, in Southfield, sleep conditions. This Practice Manager III does have Supervisor support leading the team.

Your resume must provide straightforward evidence of direct supervisory experience to be considered. Healthcare/Practice Management experience is a plus. If you are a professional seeking a career in healthcare, please consider joining our great organization.

Scope of work

Supervises and trains office support staff to ensure optimal patient process flow and serves as a liaison between physicians and clinical staff in daily operations. Responsible for charge processing, A/R follow up, cash processing, patient flow, maintenance of scheduling system and patient medical records. Develops and implements policies, process improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Scope of this position will be determined by leadership according to defined leveling criteria.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent Required.Bachelor's Degree Preferred.Three (3) years of direct staff supervisory experience, preferably in a customer-service or healthcare field Required.A minimum of three (3) years of relevant healthcare experience Preferred.Experience utilizing an electronic health record system Preferred.
