Build your career with IU Health!  We have an exciting opportunity available for a Practice Operations Specialist to join the SHS Urgent Care team at our Indianapolis location, with frequent travel to IU Health’s statewide Urgent Care clinics. 

We are looking for a candidate with proven ability to effectively lead and navigate through ambiguity. This candidate would also hold experience in leading a physician practice/clinic and clinical operations.

Provides support in practice operations for the organization and reports to the Service Line Administrator. Will monitor budgets and practice targets, evaluate and implement policies and procedures, manage projects, and work with all levels of management and physicians to accomplish goals. Provides interim managerial support in the absence of a Practice Administrator and or Clinic Manager.

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 1-2 years professional office experience (preferably healthcare related), and familiarity with health care organizations required. Masters of Health Administration or Masters of Business Administration may be accepted in lieu of experience.
• Accounting, Business, Management, Science or Health Administration concentration preferred.
