Description We are on the search for a meticulous Pre-Lit Legal Assistant to become a part of our dynamic team. As a Pre-Lit LA, you will be instrumental in providing legal support to personal injury attorneys and paralegal staff, as well as managing client relations and communications. This role is based in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri, and is an integral part of our operations. Responsibilities: • Offer comprehensive support to personal injury attorneys, assisting in various legal matters • Engage in the drafting, review, and filing of Pleadings and Discovery • Undertake the review and summarization of medical records and bills • Manage attorney calendars effectively, scheduling depositions and court hearings as required • Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing regular updates on case progress • Utilize case management software to maintain accurate records and ensure efficient claim administration • Leverage software such as Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and CompuLaw to enhance productivity • Oversee billing functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Uphold exceptional client relations, demonstrating strong communication skills • Leverage knowledge of Personal Injury Law, Personal Injury Litigation, and Personal Injury Plaintiffs in daily tasks. Requirements • Position Title: Pre-Lit LA • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role • Proficiency in using Aderant software • Skilled in using Adobe Acrobat for document management • Experience with Case Management Software • Familiarity with CompuLaw for legal calendaring and matter management • Ability to perform Billing Functions effectively • Experience in Calendar Management • Capable of handling Claim Administration tasks • Strong Client Relations skills • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal • Knowledge of Personal Injury Law • Experience in Personal Injury Litigation • Ability to represent Personal Injury Plaintiffs effectively.
