**Job Title: Pre Pack Manual Operator - Production**
**Job Description**
Pre-Pack Manual Operator (Level 1) is a key position responsible for keeping production lines operational. This role involves machine cleaning, proactive detection of safety and quality issues, and timely escalation of any problems to flow operators or production technicians. You will also ensure that equipment, materials, and tools are in good condition and support the correct operation of the production line.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain and ensure the quality requirements
+ Contribute to the utilization and efficiency of pre-pack equipment.
+ Comply with production standards and hourly output requirements.
+ Generate and maintain reports for the assigned line.
+ Adjust counting machines, baggers, and scales to ensure quality and efficiency.
+ Manually handle bricks and small parts, ensuring correct packaging.
+ Stand for 12-hour shifts, with some roles requiring sitting.
+ Rotate throughout the station, working shoulder to shoulder in an assembly line format.
+ Understand and utilize counting machines, material handling, manual tables, and production documentation.
+ Complete all training and process confirmation requirements for Level 1.
+ Communicate effectively with peers, following
+ Support changeovers, quality inspections, and machine cleaning.
+ Perform other job duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1-2 years of experience in production or manufacturing.
+ Experience with packaging, production equipment, quality inspection, and material handling.
+ Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for 8-10 hour shifts.
+ Experience with quality control, inventory management, and machine operation.
+ High school diploma or GED preferred.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with RF scan guns, labeling, and assembly line operations.
+ Ability to lift products up to 33 lbs.
+ Ability to continuously stand, walk, and perform body movements such as turning, grabbing, pinching, and bending.
+ Must have a consistent job tenure with minimal unexplained gaps in employment.
+ Experience in environments where performance is measured.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a very clean, state-of-the-art facility in Colonial Heights, housing packaging operations, a warehouse, and a training center. The facility is climate-controlled with smaller aisles (around 12 feet) requiring candidates to learn spacing before operating any equipment. There is a locker room where cell phones must be stored, and a canteen/breakroom with food and drink machines.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colonial Heights, Virginia.

The pay range for this position is $19.15 - $19.15
