Pre-Registration Representative

You would be responsible for providing completing verifications prior to a patient's visit in a manner that places emphasis on quality patient care. The service you provide will help the clinic with a more efficient flow, allowing for better patient experience. On any given day, you could assist patient and be the sole purpose they have a great experience. You would play a role in improving their lives each day. Develop strong relationships with patients, physicians, and staff members and find your people here at ROC. ROC is expanding with two more operating suites opening the beginning of 2025 as we welcome seven new surgeons to our team. Join our team to be part of the growth and excitement! What would you do as a Pre-Registration Representative? The Pre-Registration Representative is responsible for verifying the insurance status of our patients and obtaining insurance benefits for all clinical office visits: + Complete verifications prior to the patient’s office visit to delineate the patient’s responsibility and protect the company’s financial needs; + Educate uninsured patients about our Private Pay policy, and monitor notations of such in the patients’ electronic medical records and inform patients about their financial responsibility when necessary; + Contact and record insurance information, including utilizing insurance websites, customer service lines, and verification systems to obtain eligibility information for visits associated to proper billing codes; + Maintain patient demographics in patients’ electronic medical records; + Utilize priority lists to determine appropriate actions; + Assist scheduling team, doctors and patients with insurance information and assistance when requested. Requirements Certifications/Education + High School Diploma/GED; Experience: + Using computer systems and applications, including entering data and typing. Knowledge of: + Using computer systems and applications, including entering data and typing. Preferred Qualifications - How can you set yourself apart from other applicants? + Experience working with insurance companies for proper billing and allowable procedures/treatment; + Experience performing administrative tasks such as scheduling, answering phone calls, and documenting conversations.
