Position Summary:

 Translations.com is seeking a GlobalLink Implementation Engineer in Singapore. This role will provide our customers with excellent technical assistance on all of our product offerings, as well performing demonstrations of our product offerings to potential clients.

Position responsibilities:

Acting as the primary technical point of contact for internal production users as well some of our enterprise clients, of our GlobalLink suite of products, routing applicable issues to either our support or development group as well as supervising installs and upgrades of existing productsTroubleshoot issues in relation to database or content management system integrationsRolling out our products internally to different groups around the company, especially our translation memory and workflow products. Migration of TMs from other technologies to our own and the required leverage testing will make up a large part of these projects.Training and ongoing support for internal production users of our toolsHelping test and support any new features as they are rolled out. Willing to contribute in improving some of the features.Technical pre-sales tasks such as product demonstrations both in person and via webinar when requiredPerform other special projects or duties when required

 

 

Essential skills and experience required:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or universitySuperior written and spoken communication skills in English. Knowledge of Korean is desirable but not requiredCandidates should have a set of well-grounded skills relating to at least two of the following: Database technologies, CMS technologies, Translation Memory Technologies, Regular Expression Scripting, Java, Web Scripting technologiesCandidates should be willing to travel to offsite if needed.The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to: multitask in a fast-paced environment, work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, build relationships with clients and co-workers, work independently and as part of a team, take active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service
