Essential Functions • Measure proper quantities of raw materials for use in production to the hundredth of a pound and ensure the accuracy of each recipe • Verify accurate ingredients for the preparing of batches; load accurate ingredients in proper amounts into vessels • Perform data entry into ERP system, and follow system instructions for batches • Scan all ingredients according to batch cards and SOPs • Operate auxiliary equipment as needed for the safe production of product • Make any approved adjustments to batch for quality purposes • Rework or mark product for disposition appropriately • Communicate any quality, safety, or food safety issues promptly to leadership Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies) • Experience working with SAP preferred • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Knowledge of production procedures • 3+ years of production experience in food manufacturing desired • Machine operator experience • Intermediate HMI experience desired • Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to effectively communicate with peers and leadership • Ability to work cross-functionally, convey equipment issues, and maintain confidentiality • Ability to think quickly and handle frequent change • Detail oriented with the ability to organize and multitask • Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision • Willingness to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business need
