Start your new career as a Batch Preparation Specialist with our client in Liberty, SC. As a Batch Preparation Specialist, you will lead and develop a team focused on safety, quality, and efficiency, inspect products to ensure adherence to standards, assist with changeovers, organize and mix ingredients for production, and maintain a clean, well-stocked work environment while addressing any product or equipment issues. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

MAU Anderson (2923 N. Main St., Suite B, Anderson, SC 29621) offers walk-in hours Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

What We Offer: Pay of $15.50/hour First and Third Shift Available Dental Insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance What We’re Looking For: High School Diploma or GED required Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) Possess knowledge of SQF, GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, and other food safety and sanitation requirements Experience in food production, manufacturing, or related field preferred Ability to work in varying conditions, including hot, cold, and occasionally dusty environments Ability to lift 50-70 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks such as walking, bending, stooping, and lifting Fluent in Spanish is preferred but not required What You’ll Do as a Batch Preparation Specialist: Lead and develop a well-trained team focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and company success Inspect products for defects and disposition as necessary, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards Assist production lead with changeovers, including moving materials and equipment as required Stage and verify the proper organization of ingredients in the pre-scale area Accurately mix ingredients based on the pre-scale weigh sheet for each batch Ensure ingredient bins are full at the start and end of each shift and ensure pre-scale totes are prepared for use Use pallet jacks to move ingredient pallets to the pre-scale area and ensure all work areas are clean and organized, including ingredient storage areas Place empty ingredient bags in the cardboard baler and ensure all ingredients are brushed/wiped and inspected before use Rework product as necessary and notify the production lead of any waste or machine malfunctions
