Responsible for the day-to-day PreAnalytical Operations for Labcorp’s Northeast Division. The incumbent must be able to develop and inspire people leaders, team members and contingent workers with respect to general compliance, work methods, procedures, and task related activities.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (9:00pm - 6:00am)

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the PreAnalytical operations for the Raritan Regional Lab.
• Responsible for the leadership and mentoring of 6 direct people leaders and 80+ indirect team members.
• Maintain productivity standards, quality assurance metrics and proper staffing for all departments.
• Enforce and maintain staff compliance to company policies and standard operating procedures.
• Responsible for managing the P&L for the department.
• Manage and evaluate performance of leaders and team members.
• Organize workflow to meet production specifications and deadlines.
• Work with various functional areas within division to identify and implement process improvement.
• Enforce health and safety regulations to ensure compliance.
• Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
• Ability to effectively coach and develop leaders to effect change and create a continually improving supply chain.
• Strong working knowledge of a high-volume production operation.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal.
• High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position.
• Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures are preferred.
