Precast Inspector PCI-II, Lead Specialist
**This Opportunity** WSP is currently seeking a Precast Inspector, Lead Specialist to join our team in Sacramento, San Francisco - Oakland Bay Area, and Los Angelos, CA. This is a technical field and office position that requires travel to various locations within the US. Precast Concrete Institute Level II Quality Control Technician/Inspector and ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I is required. The candidate must be capable of rigorous physical activity. **Your Impact** + Inspection of structural precast members covering all aspects of fabrication including pre-pour, pour, and post-pour activities + Products inspected include components of bridge structures, including girders, deck panels, bent caps, abutments, slabs, closure wall panels, piling, prestressed pavement, earth retaining systems, soundwalls and drainage structures + Monitoring fabrication for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specifications + Verify fabricator’s quality control procedures are being followed + Review fabricator’s submittals (quality control plans, mix designs, shop drawings, quality control reports) for compliance to the project requirements + Communicate and with owners, fabricators, engineers, and other inspectors + Writing daily reports in digital format **Who You Are** **Required Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent + 11+ years of experience as a Precast Concrete Institute Level II Quality Control Technician/Inspector + ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I + Experience performing QA/QC during precast operations + Dependability, honesty, and integrity + Computer Skills: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office applications, Adobe PDFs + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Must be able to work well independently and with others + Decision making skills + Self-starter + Must be willing to travel as needed, including overnight stays when out of town + Sufficient physical stamina to work long hours indoors and outdoors under various field conditions and exposure to traffic, extreme heat, cold, rainfall, and snow + Climbing, bending, crawling, and working in confined spaces and on uneven terrain + Ability to lift 25+ lbs. + Must pass a physical and background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy **Preferred Qualifications** + NACE / AMPP or SSPC Coatings Certification + ICC Bolting certification **WSP Benefits:** WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career. Compensation Expected Salary: $46.54 -$69.07 WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
